Love this author but was pretty disappointed in this one. It was very short and quick. No development of story. Page count threw me off cause I thought the story was a lot longer than it was. Had so many additional previews, totally disliked. Felt like I got tricked into buying a longer novel.

Nobody Does It Better than Lauren Blakely! A sexy best friends brother romance is just what I needed and let me tell you, this story delivered! Shaw and Vanessa have had feelings for each other for YEARS but never acted upon it due to Shaw’s sister, Perri, forbidding Shaw to pursue Vanessa. But when the two are snowed in, ALL bets are off! I enjoyed Shaw and Vanessa to no end! When Shaw releases he’s almost out of time with Vanessa, he has to step up his game and boy, does he ever ;) Their banter, their sexual chemistry, their flirting...GAH!!! This whole series has been nothing short of cute, adorable, and epicly squishy. I’m so happy that Shaw and Vanessa were able to finally get their come together story, despite Perri’s reservations. Vanessa and Shaw have known each other forever, and have secretly crushed on each other since 7th grade, problem is Vanessa is best friends with Shaw's sister and his sister has said that she'd have Shaw's balls in a sling if he put his ladies'-man paws anywhere near her bestie. The two of them flirt with each other, but because of the forbidden situation, neither have acted on their feelings, that is not until the two of them are alone when they are both stranded at her grandfather's place in a snow storm. Things heat up between the two of them and they finally admit their feelings for each other. Both not really knowing how to tell Perri that they are a couple. When Perri finds out, first she's hurt that both have betrayed her. Then Shaw admits "I finally understand why I've wanted her with such ferocity. Light bulbs popped, bells rang, birds sang and chimes chimed. Freaking angels crooned from the heavens. I'm in love with her." Once Shaw admitted his feelings and that he wouldn't do anything to hurt Vanessa, Perri finally accepted their relationship. The chemistry and connection between Shaw and Vanessa was hot! This was a quick and steam read!

Nobody Does it Better by Lauren Blakely is a short hot romance that takes place in the world of her Lucky In Love series and follows after both Best Laid Plans & The Feel Good Factor. IT WAS AWESOME to see these characters get their own story. With all the sideways glances and obvious flirting that took place in the The Feel Good Factor between Vanessa and Shaw they totally deserved their own story - add in that it was angst free and somewhat of a "snowed-In" trope and I COULDN'T say no! Forbidden romance. Sister's best friend / best-friend's brother with a clear "hell No" from Perri about them ever getting together and it literally took a snowstorm and a village to create the perfect set of circumstances to push both Shaw and Vanessa out of their comfort zones and, finally, into each other's arms. Enjoy!

Lauren Blakely is one of my favorite authors because she takes a lot of time to develop her characters and they’re always people you can easily imagine being your best friends. They know you better than you know yourself and are always willing to lend an ear when you have a problem and more likely to tease the ever loving daylights out of you because they know they can get away with it. This novella brings together two characters we have met in previous books and trust me, Shaw and Vanessa find plenty of steamy things to do to keep themselves occupied! Trust me, this one is HOT!

When it comes to forbidden romances nobody does them better than Lauren Blakely. I'm such a sucker for the whole best friend's sibling trope and I was just chomping at the bit for Vanessa and Shaw's story. This story left me with such a smile on my face. I laughed and swooned and definitely had to fan myself from the heat these two generated. I loved getting to know more about Vanessa. She's fun, sweet and loyal-almost to a fault. She's the kind of woman everyone wants to be friends with. I loved seeing her put herself out there and own up to feelings she tried to ignore. Shaw? Well, Shaw just made me grin. He's funny but has a sexy streak a mile wide. I could definitely picture him front and center on a fireman's calendar with a smolder, then laughing it up with the photographer after. I liked him and really respected him. Watching him finally go after Vanessa made me cheer. I loved watching these two dance around each other. Their banter was was fun and flirty and the longing between them to be something more was so palpable. I would have cheered when they finally acted on their feelings but I was too busy fanning myself. Their sexy times were, well, sexy. Their relationship outside the bedroom was just as important to them and I enjoyed watching them figure out if they could really have it all with each other. Catching up with friends from other books always makes me grin. The book club ladies in this book? Well, I hope to be half as fun as they are when I'm their age. I just adored them. It was nice to catch up with Arden and Perri and their men as well. I'd like to live in this book world and just be friends with all these characters! The writing and pacing in this book just flowed seamlessly. I was hooked from the very first page and didn't want it to end-even though I read it in one sitting because I didn't want to put it down. That's what this Author's writing does for me. It creates the perfect escape. The audio of this book is fantastic! If you aren't an audio fan, I urge you to give this book a listen. The performances were just spot on. I love how these narrators work together to deliver this story! Also? There's novellas with the audio that you WON'T want to miss-I'm still re-listening to them and swooning all over again. I loved every moment of this book. It's sweet and sexy and left me with such a grin on my face. I absolutely loved this book and would recommend it-and the audio as well!

Nobody Does it Better is so aptly titled. Lauren Blakely is such a word wizard and really knows how to pack even a shorter book chock full with all of the sexiness, fun, goodness and feels! I love Shaw and Vanessa and the fact that they have both been pining for each other for so long. They are both amazing characters as I find myself saying about all of this author's heroes and heroines. I love how close all of these friend are! But all this time, neither Shaw or Vanessa have wanted to cross the line set forth by Shaw's sister Perri, who is none other than Vanessa's best friend. Talk about a no-no. But why does it have to be? Shouldn't two people who are absolutely perfect for each other and have chemistry for days, deserve to be together? Praise the universe for snow storms and hot chocolate! Call it mother nature, Derek, the ladies from the book club or even fate, but thankfully Shaw and Vanessa get a chance to look their feelings right in the eye and figure out what to do about them. Another winner!

Forbidden love between a girl and her best friends brother. We met and fell for Vanessa during Best Laid Plans and The Feelgood Factor. Vanessa is the fun loving friend that runs the bowling alley and dresses in vintage 1950s clothing. Vanessa is in love with her best friend Perri's brother Shaw. Shaw is a firefighter in the wonderful little town of Lucky Falls and the hot Shaw loves the ladies. His sister has forbid him to date her friend, threatened to do damage to his male parts if he did so Shaw may have the hots for Vanessa but there is no way he is going to act on those feelings. That is until there is a chance Vanessa will belong to someone else. The Book Club ladies are plotting to set her up with one of their step sons and there is no way Shaw is letting that happen. Game on. I love the characters in this town. This is book 3 in this series and I loved their story. Shaw is funny and full of silly jokes. Vanessa is sweet and I love her backstory as well. The Book Club ladies are hilarious and I hope I am like them at their age. Love them. So much love with these friends and this town it makes me want to live there. I received an early copy to read and review and give my honest opinion. I loved this book and highly recommend it.

There is nothing better than this book!

I loved this rom-com! This is a stand-alone in a series, so you don’t need to read the others before it. But having read the book before this one (The Feel Good Factor) made this one all the more sweeter since I already knew Shaw & Vanessa. This book has the perfect mixture of romance/swoon, comedy, tension and heat. I laughed at the beginning, smiled throughout, felt for both of these characters and swooned at the end. If you want a quick rom-com that makes you forget your problems, then read this book!

4.5 stars! Yessss! I have been waiting for Shaw and Vanessa's love story since Best Laid Plans and of course Lauren Blakely did not disappoint. This sweet novella made me so dang happy. I didn't want it to end. Although it's a short story, it doesn't lack anything. It has the right amount of humor and heat mixed with Lauren Blakely's classic and brilliant dialogue. I loved it! I complete fell for both Shaw and Vanessa! These two have been crushing on each other for so long, it created amazing tension throughout the series. I loved their flirty banter, their undeniable chemistry and their sexy times. They were everything! Sometimes you just need a heart happy, low angst, sexy romance like Nobody Does It Better. I highly recommend picking this book up immediately.

I was so excited to get Shaw and Vanessa's story. These two were placed in the friends only zone by Perri, Shaw's sister, because Vanessa is her best friend. Lauren does it Right!

This was a great steamy, sweet, forbidden romance. Shaw and Vanessa had a underlying flirt going on throughout the previous two books in this series. I was waiting for them and they did not disappoint. The banter, the chemistry, the underlying friendship was fantastic. The flirt and the fun were off the charts. Shaw had me cracking me up as I was reading. He definitely has the funny stuff but is also sweet. Vanessa is just so down-to-earth and chill. It was nice seeing the connection build between Shaw and Vanessa. A snowstorm can work wonders! ;) I really liked this novella-I just wished it was longer. Overall this was an entertaining read. Lauren always knows how to do it right. I’m excited for what’s to come next!

4.5 stars This was a sweet, low drama, and sexy best friend's brother novella. We previously met the hero and heroine, Shaw and Vanessa, in Best Laid Plans and The Feel Good Factor, but this novella can be enjoyed as a stand alone as well. Nobody Does it Better is on the shorter side since it's a novella, but it has all the things I love about Lauren Blakely's books - laugh out loud humor, fantastic characters, and yummy sexy times! ;) Vanessa and Shaw had such scorching chemistry! I also appreciated that there wasn't a lot of angst or drama. It let the story really focus on the connection between Shaw and Vanessa. The addition of the Book Club Ladies was a hoot and I loved the extra bit of fun they added to the story. One of my favorite parts of the entire Lucky in Love series, is the friendship between the three leading ladies. Arden, Perri, and Vanessa are so supportive of each other and I love that they will each drop everything they're doing to be there for their friend. I really enjoyed the littles cameos and glimpses into the future for the characters in the previous books. This was the perfect way to end the series! *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*

I fell in love with both Vanessa and Shaw in Best Laid Plans and The Feel Good Factor and now it's finally their turn to find their happily ever after. Squeeeeee!!!! Nobody Does it Better is a standalone novella that is interconnected with the above-mentioned stories. Prior reading is not necessary but there are some spoilers so I recommend reading the others first because they are AWESOME! But if you want to start here, feel free to jump on into Nobody Does it Better and then go back after to read the others. I adored all of the characters in this book (well the entire series really). Shaw is extremely personable and funny. I picture him as the class clown who loves to joke around and make everyone around him feel good. As a sexy, hero firefighter, he will do anything for his family and his friends. He's basically the All-American good guy and he's been harboring secret feelings for his sister's best friend for years. Vanessa is a successful business owner who looks like a 50's pinup girl. She's sexy and fun and has been harboring secret feelings for her best friend's brother for years. I loved the banter and chemistry between Shaw and Vanessa. Their history brings a realness to their relationship that was easy to identify with. These characters were a breath of fresh air! And I loved the book club group texts that were both clever and whimsical. Add in interactions with Perri and Derek and Blakely brought the Lucky in Love series full circle. I loved Vanessa and Shaw and I loved Nobody Does it Better! Don't miss this one! 5 stars

I complete fell for both Shaw and Vanessa! These two have been crushing on each other for so long, it created amazing tension throughout the series. I loved their flirty banter, their undeniable chemistry and their sexy times. They were everything! Sometimes you just need a heart happy, low angst, sexy romance like Nobody Does It Better. I highly recommend picking this book up immediately.

Lauren does it Right!

This was a great steamy, sweet, forbidden romance. Shaw and Vanessa had a underlying flirt going on throughout the previous two books in this series. I was waiting for them and they did not disappoint. The banter, the chemistry, the underlying friendship was fantastic. The flirt and the fun were off the charts. Shaw had me cracking me up as I was reading. He definitely has the funny stuff but is also sweet. Vanessa is just so down-to-earth and chill. It was nice seeing the connection build between Shaw and Vanessa. A snowstorm can work wonders! ;) I really liked this novella-I just wished it was longer. Overall this was an entertaining read. Lauren always knows how to do it right. I’m excited for what’s to come next!

4.5 stars This was a sweet, low drama, and sexy best friend's brother novella. We previously met the hero and heroine, Shaw and Vanessa, in Best Laid Plans and The Feel Good Factor, but this novella can be enjoyed as a stand alone as well. Nobody Does it Better is on the shorter side since it's a novella, but it has all the things I love about Lauren Blakely's books - laugh out loud humor, fantastic characters, and yummy sexy times! ;) Vanessa and Shaw had such scorching chemistry! I also appreciated that there wasn't a lot of angst or drama. It let the story really focus on the connection between Shaw and Vanessa. The addition of the Book Club Ladies was a hoot and I loved the extra bit of fun they added to the story. One of my favorite parts of the entire Lucky in Love series, is the friendship between the three leading ladies. Arden, Perri, and Vanessa are so supportive of each other and I love that they will each drop everything they're doing to be there for their friend. I really enjoyed the littles cameos and glimpses into the future for the characters in the previous books. This was the perfect way to end the series! *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*

Nobody Does it Better is a standalone novella that is interconnected with the above-mentioned stories. Prior reading is not necessary but there are some spoilers so I recommend reading the others first because they are AWESOME! But if you want to start here, feel free to jump on into Nobody Does it Better and then go back after to read the others. I adored all of the characters in this book (well the entire series really). Shaw is extremely personable and funny. I picture him as the class clown who loves to joke around and make everyone around him feel good. As a sexy, hero firefighter, he will do anything for his family and his friends. He's basically the All-American good guy and he's been harboring secret feelings for his sister's best friend for years. Vanessa is a successful business owner who looks like a 50's pinup girl. She's sexy and fun and has been harboring secret feelings for her best friend's brother for years. I loved the banter and chemistry between Shaw and Vanessa. Their history brings a realness to their relationship that was easy to identify with. These characters were a breath of fresh air! And I loved the book club group texts that were both clever and whimsical. Add in interactions with Perri and Derek and Blakely brought the Lucky in Love series full circle. I loved Vanessa and Shaw and I loved Nobody Does it Better! Don't miss this one! 5 stars

Nobody Does It Better than Lauren Blakely! A sexy best friends brother romance is just what I needed and let me tell you, this story delivered! Shaw and Vanessa have had feelings for each other for YEARS but never acted upon it due to Shaw’s sister, Perri, forbidding Shaw to pursue Vanessa. But when the two are snowed in, ALL bets are off! I enjoyed Shaw and Vanessa to no end! When Shaw releases he’s almost out of time with Vanessa, he has to step up his game and boy, does he ever ;) Their banter, their sexual chemistry, their flirting...GAH!!! All of it was on point and just oh so sexy! I truly enjoyed every moment of Nobody Does It Better and it was great to catch up with Derek, Perri, Gabe & Arden as well! When Perri finds out, first she's hurt that both have betrayed her. Then Shaw admits "I finally understand why I've wanted her with such ferocity. Light bulbs popped, bells rang, birds sang and chimes chimed. Freaking angels crooned from the heavens. I'm in love with her." Once Shaw admitted his feelings and that he wouldn't do anything to hurt Vanessa, Perri finally accepted their relationship. The chemistry and connection between Shaw and Vanessa was hot! This was a quick and steam read!

Nobody Does it Better by Lauren Blakely is a short hot romance that takes place in the world of her Lucky In Love series and follows after both Best Laid Plans & The Feel Good Factor. IT WAS AWESOME to see these characters get their own story. With all the sideways glances and obvious flirting that took place in the The Feel Good Factor between Vanessa and Shaw they totally deserved their own story - add in that it was angst free and somewhat of a "snowed-In" trope and I COULDN'T say no! Forbidden romance. Sister's best friend / best-friend's brother with a clear "hell No" from Perri about them ever getting together and it literally took a snowstorm and a village to create the perfect set of circumstances to push both Shaw and Vanessa out of their comfort zones and, finally, into each other's arms. Enjoy!

Lauren Blakely is one of my favorite authors because she takes a lot of time to develop her characters and they’re always people you can easily imagine being your best friends. They know you better than you know yourself and are always willing to lend an ear when you have a problem and more likely to tease the ever loving daylights out of you because they know they can get away with it. This novella brings together two characters we have met in previous books and trust me, Shaw and Vanessa find plenty of steamy things to do to keep themselves occupied! Trust me, this one is HOT!

When it comes to forbidden romances nobody does them better than Lauren Blakely. I'm such a sucker for the whole best friend's sibling trope and I was just chomping at the bit for Vanessa and Shaw's story. This story left me with such a smile on my face. I laughed and swooned and definitely had to fan myself from the heat these two generated. I loved getting to know more about Vanessa. She's fun, sweet and loyal-almost to a fault. She's the kind of woman everyone wants to be friends with. I loved seeing her put herself out there and own up to feelings she tried to ignore. Shaw? Well, Shaw just made me grin. He's funny but has a sexy streak a mile wide. I could definitely picture him front and center on a fireman's calendar with a smolder, then laughing it up with the photographer after. I liked him and really respected him. Watching him finally go after Vanessa made me cheer. I loved watching these two dance around each other. Their banter was was fun and flirty and the longing between them to be something more was so palpable. I would have cheered when they finally acted on their feelings but I was too busy fanning myself. Their sexy times were, well, sexy. Their relationship outside the bedroom was just as important to them and I enjoyed watching them figure out if they could really have it all with each other. Catching up with friends from other books always makes me grin. The book club ladies in this book? Well, I hope to be half as fun as they are when I'm their age. I just adored them. It was nice to catch up with Arden and Perri and their men as well. I'd like to live in this book world and just be friends with all these characters! The writing and pacing in this book just flowed seamlessly. I was hooked from the very first page and didn't want it to end-even though I read it in one sitting because I didn't want to put it down. That's what this Author's writing does for me. It creates the perfect escape. The audio of this book is fantastic! If you aren't an audio fan, I urge you to give this book a listen. The performances were just spot on. I love how these narrators work together to deliver this story! Also? There's novellas with the audio that you WON'T want to miss-I'm still re-listening to them and swooning all over again. I loved every moment of this book. It's sweet and sexy and left me with such a grin on my face. I absolutely loved this book and would recommend it-and the audio as well!

Nobody Does it Better is so aptly titled. Lauren Blakely is such a word wizard and really knows how to pack even a shorter book chock full with all of the sexiness, fun, goodness and feels! I love Shaw and Vanessa and the fact that they have both been pining for each other for so long. They are both amazing characters as I find myself saying about all of this author's heroes and heroines. I love how close all of these friend are! But all this time, neither Shaw or Vanessa have wanted to cross the line set forth by Shaw's sister Perri, who is none other than Vanessa's best friend. Talk about a no-no. But why does it have to be? Shouldn't two people who are absolutely perfect for each other and have chemistry for days, deserve to be together? Praise the universe for snow storms and hot chocolate! Call it mother nature, Derek, the ladies from the book club or even fate, but thankfully Shaw and Vanessa get a chance to look their feelings right in the eye and figure out what to do about them. Another winner!

That is until there is a chance Vanessa will belong to someone else. The Book Club ladies are plotting to set her up with one of their step sons and there is no way Shaw is letting that happen. Game on. I love the characters in this town. This is book 3 in this series and I loved their story. Shaw is funny and full of silly jokes. Vanessa is sweet and I love her backstory as well. The Book Club ladies are hilarious and I hope I am like them at their age. Love them. So much love with these friends and this town it makes me want to live there. I received an early copy to read and review and give my honest opinion. I loved this book and highly recommend it.

There is nothing better than this book!

I loved this rom-com! This is a stand-alone in a series, so you don’t need to read the others before it. But having read the book before this one (The Feel Good Factor) made this one all the more sweeter since I already knew Shaw & Vanessa. This book has the perfect mixture of romance/swoon, comedy, tension and heat. I laughed at the beginning, smiled throughout, felt for both of these characters and swooned at the end. If you want a quick rom-com that makes you forget your problems, then read this book!
